What we publish

Our online travel magazine aims to cover travel literature and informative articles to share, inspire and learn. It particularly focuses on unique aspects of culture, adventure, arts and the everyday from around the world. Articles may be humorous, tragic, political, cultural, adventurous, romantic, educational... They should portray the lesser known beauty untouched by the tourists, the unfamiliar or the most unusual. Think broad, but concentrate on something specific. It can be about a festival, an authentic meal, an antique exhibit, a conversation with a local or just the plain beauty of a quaint little village... anything you feel is interesting and unique.

Guidelines

At the Compass, we love photos, since they could sometimes tell more than a mere word. Therefore, up to 3 photos pertaining to your article are much appreciated. Article length should be loosely 300-900 words, since longer articles are strenuous on the eye when reading online.

Pay

Assignments are unpaid, and for this reason writers will reserve all the rights to their submitted work. Articles might be slightly edited to fit the magazine style, content and length.
