July Issue
Editor's Note

July 2008

The Compass Art Director has ventured onto a long adventure, leaving me with the responsibility of web design. With my basic html knowledge and his 20 minute dreamweaver training, I think I managed the July Issue quite well. If you do come across text overlapping photos, and links taking you to the wrong source, I apologize in advance. That’s the signature of my learning curve.

This month I have put together a short survey, and I would like to ask everyone to please take a minute and fill it out. This will help us tremendously in improving The Compass for you, the readers, and everyone involved behind the scenes. We have implemented some new and exciting features; however before we present them to you we would like to see what your interests and travel habits are.

Last month I got carried away and wrote a long Editor’s Note. Blame it on the beauty of Mexico not me. I will definitely mention Mexico again down the road, but I will try to keep this one short.

This Month, we will be venturing into Sarajevo- the land of Dragon Azdaha, before making a stop over in Figueres where Simon will tell us what lies beyond Dali. Later join Tim as he explores the beauty of Byron Bay, and finally I will give some advice to novice travelers on how to travel like a local.

Enjoy the good read!
