Vietnam – Cultural Moments Photographed and Narrated by Thinh Le
To understand one's culture, he must immerse himself within the
contexts of his cultural fabric of identity. What defines a place
defines a culture. What defines a culture defines a space of conformity
relative to its surrounding contexts.
This visit to the contexts of Vietnam becomes a journey of discovery
of place. The relationships between these places create the fabric
that holds together the Vietnamese culture. This set of photographs
is an exploration of the connection between texture, color, and
spatial transformation within this cultural fabric.
